Overview
Git Remote PR opens or maintains one GitHub pull request for the full committed current branch. It collects evidence from git state, gh, templates, commit intent, and the final net diff before drafting concise reviewer-oriented title and body text.
The skill fails closed when the worktree is dirty, upstream tracking is missing or mismatched, the comparison is empty, or the remote state makes the PR ambiguous. In normal mode it stops on a deterministic preview and waits for the exact approval phrase. In yolo or auto mode attached to the explicit PR request, it reuses that same preview as the write authorization.
Concepts
- Committed-branch only: pull requests are built from committed changes on a valid tracked branch, never from staged, unstaged, or untracked work.
- Evidence-first drafting: the complete comparison, commit set, and final patch are read before any reviewer-facing summary is written.
- Preview-scoped approval: the write plan is hashed from the exact proposed title and body so approval applies only to that prepared PR action.
- Whole-body ownership: an existing PR for the same head and base pair is updated in place, and its body is regenerated from the current diff instead of patched around stale prose.

Usage guidance
Use this skill when the user explicitly wants to create, open, or refresh a GitHub pull request for the current branch. It is the right fit for reviewer-ready PR drafting, template-aware body generation, and updating an existing branch PR without creating duplicates.
Make sure the branch is already committed, clean, and tracks the intended upstream head before invoking it. The skill owns the full preview workflow, respects repository PR templates when present, and defaults to a ready PR unless the user explicitly asks for a draft.
